I have been in financial sales for the majority of my career. As everyone knows our economy has taken a serious down turn and I am not looking to go back to school to seek a career in IT. I would like to seek an entry level job so that once I recieve my degree I will already be seasoned. My issue is I don’t know what kind of position are available for people with no certifications or experience in that field.

What is the best explanation for 6 months employment gap?
I resigned from my part-time entry-level job in order to look for something that would better suit my education. I took some time off, but than was not able to find a suitable job very quickly. Finally, I am employed but still interviewing. Employment gaps seem to be a main concern for many employers. Please share your experiences and thoughts about handling these kinds of questions.
